I’m home again. I’m tired. I’m 106 entries behind on you LJ folk. Wait…now it’s 107. And I’ve topped a thousand news articles to catch up on. I have a good sized list of things I have to get done, and almost no gumption to do them.
In better news, LJ cross-posting is now fixed. I found and slightly modified a wonderful new plugin a fellow wrote. All missing entries have been added and marked as backdated. The oldest addition is here (just whack the ‘next’ button till you get to here to read them all). They are unfortunately, recommended reading. But they are few (take that as you will).
Other than that, I’ve moved to full-on WP 2.0, removed the captcha system in lieu of the akismet anti-spam thingy (I have continued to receive comment and trackback spam). We are ready to roll on that shit. Oh, and I crapped out a site for my WoW guild (I think it looks tacky, but I’m just doing the back-end work in the CMS, not the layout or content). Not that I even play that much, but it was fun to do.
Updates from the vacation shall have to come later.

I only just realized yesterday that I’ve got my site hardcoded into the plugin. However, I’m a high school senior, and every college application in the world was due today, so between that and some other time-sensitive stuff, I haven’t had a chance to release (and write) version 1.0.1 yet.
I’ll look into how to do a more complicated link back to the WP blog, but that’s more of a 1.1 feature.
Also – I’m curious. I saw that you’ve crossposted all of your recent entries (if not all of them) over to LJ. How did you do that? Did you just do them in order starting with the earliest? Or did you have some sort of automated process?
Very, very glad to see someone using my plugin :)
